Tasting Note

This superb example of Sylvain Dussort's Chardonnay from vines aged 50+ years. It is rich and smooth after several years in bottle, whilst retaining a freshness of ripe grapes and lemon mingling with notes of honey and hazelnut. The flavours and textures are harmonious and complex with a long lasting finish. This is still youthful and could be cellared for another 5 years.

Pair this with rich buttery sauces with either chicken or seafood dishes.

Kate Says

"Sylvain Dussort took over this estate in 1982 and he takes most pride from his white wines. They are seriously good combining concentration of old vine fruit with minerality and great ageing potential. We love this Meursault, I'd have it with a fish pie."
