What's inside?

Francesc Ricart, Cava Brut NV, 11.5% Spain

One of our favourite sparkling wines, this cava has a brilliant balance of  aromatic peach and citrus fruit with the delicate honey and rich toasty depth that gives it a moreish drinkability. - Ideal for bucks fizz or pairing with poached eggs on toast, add a drizzle of truffled honey to up the decadence.

Adegas Terrae, 7 Pulgadas Alabrino, 12.5% Spain, Vegan

A nose of peach, pear, apple, melon and tropical fruit leads to a dry fresh palate, with great intensity and length on the finish. Flavours of peach, grapefruit, pear, green apple, lemon are vibrant and focused.

Domaine Fournillon, Chablis, 12.5% France

Exactly what you'd expect from good value Chablis, lots of green apple and citrus, lean minerality and a refreshing finish. a great wine to pair with smoked salmon and poached eggs because who doesn't love a boozy brunch?

Terres Fideles, Montsable Pinot Noir, 12.5% France, Vegan

An elegant and fresh Pinot Noir with  from the cooler vineyards in the Haute Vallée d'L'Aude Altitude. Intense dark cherry and blackberry fruit on the nose, a rich round palate with notes of red summer fruits such as raspberry and more blackberry. Nicely integrated oak adds to the structure, and lends a spiciness to the long finish.

Biscardo Neropasso, 13.5% Italy, Vegan

A wine that's easy to love - and there's been a lot of love for Appasimiento. Once people try the expressive sweet fruit they can't wait to tell someone. Decadent aroma with hints of red and black cherry and plum compote. The fine and velvety palate is a treat for the senses with sweet dark fruits and spice leading to a persistent finish, with soft tannins.

Fonseca Bin 27 (Half-bottle)

Made from a blend of reserve wines. This is intense, rich and fruity nose, full of pure blackberry, cassis, cherry and plum aromas intertwined with hints of spice. Perfect with a good farmhouse cheddar, it is also delicious with desserts made from dark chocolate or berry fruit.

Lieutenant de Sigalas, Sauternes 2018 (37.5cl), France

Classic Sauternes blend of Semillon and Sauvignon blanc from the same terroir as the wineries premier cru classe wines. Fresh floral aromas and white fleshed fruits, 12 months in barrel add complexity and depth. An amazing pairing with cheeses and fruit desserts.

Domaine Landreau, Cremant de Loire Brut NV, 12% France

Crémant is the name given to traditional method sparkling wines made outside of the Champagne region in France. This means you often get much better value for money as shown by this elegant example from the Loire. It's just great, really fresh at first then moreish.

Domaine de la Bretonniere, Muscadet Sevre et Maine sur Lie, 12% France

A French favourite from the Loire Valley, made using the Melon de Bourgogne grape. This is a wonderful light, dry white with an intense, complex nose. The palate is fruity with green apple, lemon and melon fruit and a dry finish.

Tohu Sauvignon Blanc, 13.5% New Zealand

This vibrant wine displays aromas of passionfruit and citrus zest with notes of fresh herbs and green pepper. The concentrated palate is layered with flavours of sweet tropical fruit, bright lemon and lime, and crunchy green apple. 

Astral de Chateau Puybarbe, 14.5% France, Vegan

Ripe bramble and cassis on the nose combined with some mint as well as vanilla and spice from the oak-aging. Delicious full-bodied wine with abundant fruit and soft acidity, grippy tannins. There’s complexity of aromas and taste that will improve by decanting for a couple of hours. 

Bodegas Palacio, Glorioso Reserva, 14% Spain

This delicious Rioja Reserva was a big customer favourite at our inaugural focus group tasting. It is easy to see why with generous fruit and well-balanced oak giving complexity and a silky texture. I'd enjoy this simply with some grilled lamb chops.
