Le Roc spends between 10 and 12 months in oak barrels, this helps to provide a medium body and structure somewhere between the Gaia and their signature wine. Again a blend of Merlot 88% and Cabernet Sauvignon 12% gives plenty of fruit such as dark plum, blackcurrants which develop into a long spicy finish with black pepper and vanilla. Great with bangers and mash or some Normandy Anduille sausage de vire if you want to take it up a notch.
