The weekend bottle - This is a great Malbec with plenty of easy going ripe fruit and just enough depth and richness to make it interesting but not heavy. It has aromas of ripe black and red fruits such as blackberries, plums and cherries mingling with a delicate chocolate and vanilla note from 8 months ageing in oak.

The special occasion bottle - Malbec also works really well in a blend with other grapes. This keeps a dominant core of 80% Malbec with a little Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc to create a deep, dark and brooding wine. It is aromatic with berries and violets with a wisp of smoke and black pepper. Bold and powerful on the palate with dark fruits, and a savoury texture, ripe firm tannins and a smooth lasting finish. One to a have with a quality ribeye steak.
