Full bodied, native variety Kekfrankos, aged for 12 months in new Hungarian oak barrels produced by the vineyards own cooperage. This is a wine made only in the best vintages when the ripeness levels are perfect, deep, dark, bramble fruits with a rich texture and warming black pepper spice.
Egri Korona Borhaz (Crown Wine House of Eger) is right in the middle of the famous wine producing region of Eger with it's volcanic soils rich in minerals. The Bornemissza Selection is part of the Histoic Grand Selection of wines from this winery commemorating the seige of Eger in 1552.
