"I'm very partial to good sparkling wine, and when I visited the Ferghettina winery earlier this year I was instantly in love. We've been fans of their wines for years, but the welcome they offered and the work that goes into their wine is truly special. Their Brut is an exuberant, confident and bright style - a traditional method fizz, sometimes referred to as the Champagne of Italy. It's so easy-drinking and approachable and shows there's more to Italian sparkling wine than simply Prosecco."
Moorooduc, Pinot Noir 2020 12.5% Italy, Vegan
"I have a real love for Pinot Noir and this example from Australia's Mornington Peninsula shows that you don't have to look for Burgundy for top class Pinot. On the nose there is dark cherries, violets, rose and an earthy complexity. On the palate more black cherry fruit off set by tangy pomegranate, moroccan spice and savoury notes. It's smooth, luscious and velvety with well intergrated tannins finished with a long, mouthwatering aftertaste."

"We've been thrilled to work with Domaine Gayda this year and their Petit Villa has a lot of the qualities I like about Rhone Valley reds. This blend of Syrah, Mourvèdre and Grenache highlights the characteristics of the appellation and the biodiversity of the terroir. Whilst respecting tradition, it is also in tune with the times. ‘La Petite Villa’ starts us off on the road to ‘Villa Mon Rêve'."
