A full-flavoured an very accessible Tempranillo red wine with intense and complex aromas of ripe fruits, dark fruit jam, tobacco and leather. The palate is full-bodied, rich, smooth and elegant. This spends 14 months in oak and it is time well-spent, it complements the wine with gentle tannins and an expressive, lasting finish.
Try this with a Spanish beef stew.

Producer Info
Bardos are a range of wines produced by Vintae from the areas around the Duero, namely Rueda and Ribera del Duero. Stylistically they are clean and modern without being over ripe or too rich but instead are clean, fruit driven wines that are a joy to drink.
In the hardest area of Ribera del Duero, at altitude of more than 960 meters, this collection of wines is born in honour of all the brave women who have dedicated their lives to the vineyard. Strong, tenacious women that without whom, it would have been impossible to raise the vineyard and develop its treasures.
The Clea project is an initiative created by the winery and collaborated with Fademur - the federation of women’s associations in rural areas. This project is aimed at supporting different female entrepreneurship in rural areas. For this reason, each year, a percentage of the sale proceeds from their wines is donated to financing all projects from all participants.
