A blend of Touriga NAcional, Tempranillo and Carignan, aged seperately in old Burgundy barrels for 9 months before blending and a further 6 months ageing in stainless steel tanks.
Dried herbs and wild berries leap out of the glass with juicy dark cherries and blackberries and bright, cleansign acidity. The tannins are soft and rounded giving a long, smooth finish. The guys at AB&D reccomend pairing this with anything fried on a slice of bread, and that sounds fantastic.
