Tasting Note

This is a bright and juicy Barbera, cultivated on the slopes of Montferrato in Piemonte. The nose is bursting with cherry and blueberry black fruit with a little juniper and forest floor notes. The palate is full-bodied and richly layered with a juicy fruit core and and fresh acidity leading to an earthy hazelnut and dark chocolate finish.

Try this with a mushroom pasta dish.

Kate Says

"If you are looking for a wine that is easy-drinking, food-friendly and juicy, you should definitely try this Barbera from Piedmont. I'd enjoy this with a comforting bowl of pasta."
