Viognier is a white wine grape which makes delicious and good quality white wine. With it’s heady aroma and dry taste, this Northern Rhone variety is capable of producing the most stunning white wines. Interestingly, it is the only grape permitted for the French wine, Condrieu in the Rhône Valley. The grape can also be found in North and South America along with Australia and New Zealand. Its flavour is reminiscent of apricots, honeysuckle and ripe peaches.
