Nebbiolo is Italy's most noble red grape - the variety behind Barolo and Barbaresco, two of the world's great age-worthy wines. Grown primarily in the Piedmont region of northwest Italy, it produces wines of remarkable complexity: firm tannins, high acidity and an unmistakable aromatic profile of dried roses, tar, cherry and earthy minerality.
Our selection focuses on Barolo DOCG, the grape's most celebrated expression, with bottles from respected Piedmontese producers including Michele Reverdito, Broccardo and Marziano Abbona. We also carry lighter, more approachable Langhe and Alpine Nebbiolos from Barolo producer Michele Reverdito and Mamete Prevostini in Lombardy - a great introduction to the variety for those new to it.
