The everyday red. This is a little gem. A velvety, fruity blend with bold flavour of ripe berries. It is juicy on the palate with plum, cherry and blackberry finishing with gentle tannins and a little warm spice.
Jean Didier Rouge, 12.5%, France - Vegan
The 'catch up with a friend' red. For when you need the wine to take a back seat to the conversation, but still want something tasty to enjoy. This a southern French red with a lot of easy charm. Easy-going, medium-bodied blend with crunchy and ripe red fruits, juicy acidity and delicate tannins. This delivers plenty of bang for your buck. Enjoy it with a veggie pizza.
Wild House Shiraz, 14%, South Africa - Vegan
The BBQ red. Bold, ripe fruit with inviting aromas of summer pudding, ripe black cherry, vanilla and even a touch of Framboise. On the palate, more rich black fruits, smoky notes and a suggestion of dark chocolate and star anise. A treat with a burger.
Beppe Morchetta Bianco, 12%, Italy - Vegan
The anytime white. Bright with fresh honeydew melon and green apple fruit leading to a soft, refreshing palate that ends with an appealing bitter twist adding to its immense drinkability. Enjoy with a few nibbles or with a plate of garlicky pasta.
False Bay, 'Slow' Chenin Blanc, 13.5%, Spain - Vegan
The wild ferment white. We love the wines made by False Bay. Their slowly fermented Chenin uses wild yeast shows you can get refreshing wine full of creamy lemon fruit with a subtle savoury complexity at an affordable price. Brilliant with herby roast chicken.
Alceno, Sierra de Enmedio Sauvignon Blanc, 12%, Spain - Vegan
The sunshine white. This is just the kind of lighter, easy-drinking wine that's a reliable option for a mid-week glass after work or when a friend pops by for lunch. A very fresh and aromatic Spanish Sauvignon Blanc with a nice intensity of tropical fruit, floral blossom notes and a hint of almond nuttiness. Try this with pizza or a few plates of tapas.
