Arran whisky comes from the Isle of Arran, off Scotland's west coast, where Isle of Arran Distillers run two sites: Arran itself, and Lagg, its newer, peated sister distillery just down the road. Isle of Arran whisky has built a strong following in a short space of time, and having both houses side by side makes for an easy comparison, unpeated against peated, from the same island and the same team.
