Bodegas Palacio, Glorioso Crianza, 14% Spain
Vibrant nose of red berry fruit combined perfectly with the fine toasty vanilla aromas added by ageing in French oak to make an elegant wine with its own personality. A very expressive wine where the ripeness of the fruit brings freshness and liveliness to the palate and leads to a long, silky finish with a velvety mouthfeel.
Un Bon Canon, Pinot Noir, 12.5% France
Grown close to the Pyrenees these vines have the benefit of altitude to keep them cool as well as the ocean breeze coming off the Mediterranean, prime growing conditions for a fruit forward, juicy Pinot Noir. There's plenty of juicy red berries with silky smooth tannins and a crunchy, refreshing finish.
