A message from Kate
Yes, I can't quite believe I'm writing this, as it's been a while in the making, but we have news… and it's exciting! We've taken over the former Tiny's Tipple site on Wilbraham Road in Chorlton.
Why Chorlton?
As you may know, I've looked at a lot of properties for a new site over the last few years. We came close on a few (including a couple in Chorlton, actually), but things never quite fell into place. I love Chorlton for its mix of independent retailers by day and hospitality offerings in the evening, and for what feels to me like a real sense of community. So when I heard Ed (Tiny's owner) was planning to sell up and move to Devon, it finally felt like the stars might have aligned.
I love the building and the business Ed has built over the last 14 years, so it feels fantastic to be taking over the space and putting our own stamp on it.
What's coming
That means a few changes, including some seating, similar to what we've done in Didsbury in recent years. We'll continue as a bottle shop, but you'll also be able to stay for a drink, with loads of wines by the glass, or pick any bottle off our shelves to drink in for a modest corkage fee.
There'll be a small and simple food offering, including sharing boards with cheese from Chorlton Cheesemongers, plus tasting events and food collabs. To be honest, there are all sorts of ideas running through my head right now…
When can you pop in?
Anyway, one step at a time. The renovations have started, and we're hoping to open mid-November-ish (possibly with a stress on the "ish").
Reserve is coming to Chorlton, and we can't wait!

Inside 510 Wilbraham Road, where work is underway to create a contemporary hybrid shop/bar space
Work has started to open up the the space by removing the existing shelving that previously divided the front and back areas of the shop. We're stripping back to brick to create a blank canvas onto which we'll create our new site.
