A wonderful Syrah from the world renowned Yann Chave estate is the northern Rhone. Le Rouvre is from 50 year old vines located on the Chassis terraces along the former Rhone river bed. Elegant and expressive nose with blackcurrant, liquorice and a touch of black pepper. The tannins are rich and well structured with great concentration of fruit and a long finish.
This is a great wine to pair with roast rib of beef or Camembert Cheese, drinking well now but will age for up to 10 years.
