A naturally made skin-contact wine from the heart of Abruzzo.
Vincenzo Blanco is a great introduction to light skin-contact wines. The latest vintage of this wine comes with a brand-new look and a paler blend of Falanghina and Trebbiano grapes. Vibrant with apple, quince and crunchy yellow plums. Time spent on skins offers just enough tannin to keep things interesting - not dissimilar to iced tea - backed up by plenty of clean, refreshing minerality on the finish.
If you're not yet into natural wine, this is the kind of bottle that’ll win you over – complex, expressive and far too easy to drink.
Top food pairings:
“Fresh and feisty – lemon peel, green apple, and a hint of wild herbs. A natural skin-contact wine with real energy. Brilliant with veggie dishes or a sunny lunch outside.”
Michele Lorenzetti and Luigi Zehender, both viticulturists, are two friends who joined forces to produce wines with great respect for nature, using biodynamic practices throughout the wine-making process.
Vincenzo Blanco is their light-skin contact wine, made naturally from white grapes fror Les Caves De Pyrene. It's fermented with native yeasts and left to rest on its skins for a few days, giving the wine its amber colour and distinctive texture. Unfiltered, unfined, and bottled with minimal sulphur, it’s a pure expression of place and process.
Rustic, real and seriously refreshing – Vincenzo Blanco is a great introduction to skin-contact wine, made by the brilliant team. It’s the kind of bottle that sparks conversation and makes food sing.
