Vigneti Tardis, Fratelli Felix Bianco 2022

Get to know: Vigneti Tardis, Fratelli Felix Bianco

Tasting Note

If you love orange wine that's on the fresh and fruity side of the style, then this is for you. There's delicious aromas of tropical fruit (think lychee, peach and citrus hints) and a honeysuckle note. On the palate it is light and dry with a slightly chalky texture and bit of salt on the finish. Very easy drinking stuff with a bit of something about it.

Try this with a grilled halloumi burger.

Producer Info

Vigneti Tardis is the result of a collaboration between Jack Lewens (former sommelier, now co-owner of Leroy Restaurant, Shoreditch) and his long-time friend Bruno de Conciliis of Viticoltori de Conciliis. They farm organically and biodynamically, producing wines with a hands-off approach from 3.6 hectares of vines in Cilento, Campania. Fratelli Felix is thier collaboration with Eric Narioo of Les Caves de Pyrene & Vino di Anna, showcasing the excellent, honest of Campania from sustainable growers.

This uses Fiano and Falanghina grapes, organically grown on clay and limestone soils. The grapes are harvested manually. The skins are left to soak in the juice for 2 days before a light press. No additives bar a tiny amount of SO2 at bottling, neither filtered nor fined.
