The Gimblett is a blend of varieties picked from Trinity Hill's vineyards in Gimblett Gravels, the now highly sought after sub region of Hawkes Bay. the blend includes Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot, it has beautiful aromatics of ripe blackberry, fresh blackcurrant and dried herbs. There's plenty of structure from the Cabernet, richness from the Merlot. The result is a powerful wine that's an ideal pairing for steak or roasted lamb.
