Light smoke intertwines with rich citrus and exotic spices. Subtly smoky, surprisingly sweet, it opens up the world of lightly peated whisky. The three types of cask used in the maturation of this whisky impart individual flavour characteristics. The bourbon cask creates honey, coconut and milk chocolate. The Oloroso Sherry cask gives a rich and fruity treacle, coffee and paprika notes. Finally the North American virgin oak balanced these with clean and zingy citrus, pecan pie and cinnamon.
