About the author

Amanda Barnes is an award-winning wine and travel writer, and the author of The South America Wine Guide. Although born and raised in Hampshire, England, Amanda has been based in South America since 2009 and is a sought-after specialist in the wines of Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Bolivia, Peru and Brazil. A regular correspondent international wine and travel publications (including Decanter, Fodor’s, SevenFifty, The Guardian & The Telegraph). She is currently studying to become a Master of Wine.
