Get to know: Terres Fideles, Montsable Pinot Noir

Tasting Note

This fresh and silky French Pinot Noir is packed with flavours of dark cherry, blackberry and red summer fruits, with subtle floral notes and a gentle, spicy finish. It’s smooth and well-balanced with a touch of French oak bringing in structure and a hint of toastiness. Elegant, affordable, and perfect for everything from cosy dinners to Sunday roasts. A great pick if you’re looking for a Burgundian-style Pinot Noir without the Burgundy price tag.

Food Pairings:

  • Perfect with roast lamb, duck stew, or game birds

  • Try it with mushroom bourguignon or chargrilled aubergines

  • Great with soft and nutty cheeses like Brie de Meaux, Gruyère, or Caerphilly

Kate Says

"If you love Pinot Noir and are looking for something that is good value but delivers all the classic flavour you want, this is the wine for you. Serve slightly chilled and enjoy the silky texture and subtle depth of flavour with a rustic French duck dish."

Producer Info

Made by Terres Fidèles, a winemaking project rooted in the wild hills of southern France. They work with small growers and focus on making wines that express the character of their place – what the French call l’esprit de lieu.

Grown in cool climate, high-altitude vineyards with limestone soils in the Haute Vallée de l’Aude, the grapes ripen slowly for maximum flavour and freshness.

  • Gentle, Burgundian-style winemaking

  • Cool fermentation to preserve delicate aromas

  • Aged mostly in stainless steel, with 10–20% matured in new French oak barrels for three months

This is a small batch Pinot Noir from southern France, made with minimal intervention for purity and finesse.
