This wine displays an intense, brilliant red color with black hues. Its great complexity and aromatic intensity shows notes of cherries, spices, tobacco, cassis, white pepper, and cloves with touches of mint and chocolate. It has a good structure and marked acidity. Velvety and sweet tannins are given by the wood. It is voluminous and full bodied in the mouth and has a long and persistent finish.
This family estate in the Pedriel district of Mendoza is run and owned by the Sottano brothers Diego, Pablo and Mauricio. It sits at 1000m altitude in the foothills of the Andes so benefiting from the warm days and cold nights typical of the region which make for well balanced and perfectly ripe grapes. The wines from this estate are rich and smooth yet maintain an elegance and balance uncommon in new world wines.
