Chile's premier grape variety, full of concentrated dark fruits, ripe figs and spices with soft, round tannins and an elegant finish. Aged for 8 months in French oak just to marry all of the ripe fruit and spices.
A great red to try with foods with a little spice.
30 years ago at the Colchagua Valley, Alberto Siegel Dauelsberg planted the first vineyards, which today has become Viña Siegel.
Currently, Viña Siegel has more than 700 hectares planted with vineyards strategically located at the foothills of The Andes, at Los Lingues, and goes till the highest coast zones, like Peralillo, and really close to the Pacific Ocean at the Leyda Valley. Their vision is centered on the search of vines with identity and quality, and they have a strong dedication for details and service, producing wines with a futuristic vision. All while protecting the environment and caring about their team and conserving the natural surroundings.
