This red combines a mixed bunch of red grapes (50% Syrah, 30% Carmenere, 10 % Cabernet Franc, 10% Petit Verdot) from Chile's Colchagua Valley and tucks them up in French Oak for 8 to 10 months to ensure they all get along nicely
Pour it out and you get a wine with a deep ruby red colour and complex aromas of black fruit spices. The blend of four varieties gives a complex wine with juicy tannins, medium to full body and delightful balance. You'll pick out cherry fruit, blueberry and blackberry fruit with a hint of vanilla and coffee.
You can enjoy this on on its own but you'll find it is versatile with pasta dishes and red meats too.
