Selladore en Provence Rose 2025

Get to know: Selladore en Provence Rosé 2025

A pale, beautifully made Provence rosé from a family estate in the Haut Var - exclusive to us in the North.

Tasting Note

Selladore en Provence Rosé 2025 is exactly what great Provence rosé should be - and then some.Pale salmon pink, it opens with delicate aromas of wild strawberry, white peach, and citrus zest, with a subtle floral lift. On the palate, this sustainably made wine is crisp and well-balanced, offering bright red-berry fruit, juicy citrus, and a clean, refreshing acidity. It finishes with a lovely note of white peach and a gently rounded texture. A polished and expressive rosé that’s both refreshing and subtly complex.

Top food pairings:

  • Warm goat’s cheese salad
  • Seafood like grilled prawns
  • Light summer salads or simply as an aperitif

Producer Info

Domaine Saint Jean de Villecroze is a historic and highly regarded estate in Provence, with roots dating back to antiquity and a winemaking tradition shaped by Roman and Templar influence. Situated in the Haut Var between the Alps and the Mediterranean, the vineyards benefit from a unique microclimate where warm sunshine is balanced by cooling Mistral winds. This natural environment supports low-intervention viticulture and a move towards organic farming, resulting in expressive and authentic Provence wines.

How it’s made:

  • Varieties: Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault and Rolle (Vermentino)
  • Hand-harvested at night to preserve freshness and acidity
  • Delicate pressing with short skin contact to achieve its pale colour and aromatic lift
  • Fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats
  • Blended around 6 weeks before bottling for balance and consistency

Good to know:

  • Region: Coteaux Varois en Provence, France
  • Style: Rosé, still, dry and fresh
  • Closure: Cork
  • Vegan: No
  • ABV: 13%
  • Vintage: 2025

Why we love it:

This Provence rosé wine delivers everything you’d expect – bright berry fruit, zesty citrus, and a clean, refreshing finish. It’s a versatile, crowd-pleasing style that works just as well with food as it does on its own.
