Get to know: René Cacheux Bourgogne Pinot Noir Les Champs d'Argent 2024
A classic Burgundy red wine that seriously overdelivers, from the heart of Burgundy.
Tasting Note
René Cacheux Bourgogne Pinot Noir Les Champs d'Argent 2024 is an elegant red that captures the finesse and quiet confidence you expect from top-quality Burgundy Pinot Noir. Bright ruby in colour with lifted aromas of red cherry, wild strawberry, raspberry, and a subtle savoury note typical of Pinot Noir from this part of Burgundy. On the palate, it’s supple and finely balanced, with juicy red fruit, gentle spice, and silky tannins carrying through to a long, refined finish. This is a beautifully composed Bourgogne Pinot Noir that punches well above its appellation.
Top food pairings:
- Roast chicken with thyme and garlic
- Mushroom risotto or wild mushroom pasta
- Duck breast with a light cherry or red wine sauce
Kate Says
"This is one of those bottles that makes you stop mid-sip and double check the label. Proper Burgundy charm, silky and serious, but still very drinkable – a real insider pick."
