Based on purely Viosinho grapes on schist soils, the Meruge Branco is fermented and aged in new Portuguese oak barrels. Full of ripe stone fruits such as apricots and peaches with honeydew melon hints of blasamic and dried fruit. An explosion of quince and pears with soft vanilla and a creamy texture, balanced with taut acidity and a long fresh finish. With the structure and complexity displayed, this is a wine with an enormous potential for ageing.
