Murdoch Hill has been in the Downer family since 1939 and Michael Downer is now the head winemaker having previously worked at Shaw & Smith and Vietti in Barolo. Regional selection of premium vineyards are combined to produce this vibrant style of Pinot Noir with classic strawberry, raspberry and red cherry fruits. there's a small percentage of whole bunch fermentation which adds structure and a touch of spice on the finish.
