Get to know: Mont Rocher Cabernet Franc
Tasting Note
This is a very juicy and approachable example of this classic grape. The nose is fresh and vibrant with ripe fruit and warm spice. Luscious and mouth-watering on the palate, with blackcurrant and redcurrant fruit characters and a twist of nutmeg and clove through to the finish.
Try this with sausages or roasted chicken.

"A wonderfully charming example of Cabernet Franc that fans of fruity Malbec would enjoy. This is great value and very versatile on the dinner table. I'd enjoy it with some venison sausages and onion gravy."
Producer Info
The wines of Terres Fidèles are designed to express the spirit of this extraordinary place. Authentically crafted, small batch wines of the wilds.
Grapes are harvested from high altitude, hillside vineyards in the Haute Vallée of Limoux, which sit on rugged limestone rich soils. It is here some of their old vine Cabernet Franc is grown and crafted to display purity of fruit and a distinctive 'gout de terroir' (taste of the place).
Picked at their optimal ripeness, in mid September, the grapes are destemmed then crushed. There is a cold pre-ferment maceration for 5 days, before a classical fermentation for 8 to 10 days in stainless steel tank.
