Matawhero Single Vineyard Gewurztraminer 2022

Fantastic expression of fruit driven Gewurz, full of lychee, exotic pear, turkish delight, spice and ginger with a rich texture and a clean finish. 

Matawhero vineyard was the first to plant Gewurztraminer in New Zealand, making the most of silt, clay soils which help to give that rich, dense fruit character to the wines. 

This is great to try with Asian food or blue cheese dishes.
