Intense, concentrated dark berry fruit with cherries, cassis and ripe plums, there's a crunchy texture and fresh finish with a hint of balsamic. Interestingly this has been aged in steel, french oak and amphora before being blended back together and bottled.
This Garnacha from Catalonia is a result of some wonderful sustainable farming by Mas Blanch i Jove. Their 17 hectares of vines are fully organic with no herbicides or pesticides, the wines are vegan friendly and the winery is fully powered by solar energy. Around the vines their are olive groves and artistic installations and sculptures.
A perfect pairing for manchego, quince jelly and some freshly sliced charcuterie.
