Mackmyra Brukswhisky from Sweden has been aged in a mixture of firtst fill bourbon casks, Swedish oak and Sherry casks giving it beautiful complexity. On the nose there is butterscotch, citrus fruit, pear, banana and liquorice. On the palate this develops with more fresh fruit but then hints of black pepper followed by spicy oak and apple pie on the finish.
