Bjorksav is a Swedish single malt whisky inspired by the long awaited return of spring. Made from casks infused with Swedish birch sap (bjorksav) this is a whisky with amazing florals, fresh spiciness and sweet vanilla fudge. There is a blend of whisky's from Olorosso sherry casks, ex Bourbon casks, Bjorksav infused casks and Swedish oak casks. This blending of casks adds huge complexity and depth, on the nose you get the florals and a light spiciness, cedar and toasted bread. Then you get plenty of fruit with red cherry, raisin, apples and pears with a hit of lemon citrus. Then the finish brings it all back together with round oak, vanilla, light spices and dried fruits.
