Beautifully fresh and characterful red fruit nose and palate with cranberry, strawberry and morello cherry. Balanced acidity and a lively mousse.
This is made from Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, grown on both their own clay and neighbouring grower’s chalk soils which complement each other in terms of generosity and finesse. They use the traditional saignée method to draw colour from the grapes at the pressing stage. A minimum of 18 months ageing on the lees brings a delicate creaminess to the wine.
