Tasting Note

Gingerbread and cinnamon lead the way here, with citrus and orchard fruit sitting just behind. The extra years show in the palate: oak char and marmalade, pineapple and white grapes, then a run of rum spice and coconut milk. It's bottled at 46%, natural colour, un-chill filtered, so the texture stays full through to a finish that fades slowly on toasted oak and fresh fruit. This is the bottle for someone who's already fond of the 10 Year Old and wants to see where the extra time takes it.

Serving suggestions:

• Neat, in a tulip glass, to catch the spice on the nose
