Fei Tswei Winery is a boutique producer based in Ningxia’s Helan Mountain wine region, one of China’s most promising areas for quality wine. The 85-hectare vineyard was planted in 2013 at around 1,160 metres above sea level, where bright sunshine, low rainfall and dramatic day-to-night temperature swings help grapes ripen slowly while retaining freshness. The vineyards are worked organically with careful hand harvesting, allowing the winery to produce expressive wines such as this Ningxia Chardonnay that reflect the purity and energy of the region.
