A great introduction to orange wines, this blend of Fiano and Falanghina grapes is full of vibrant peaches and apricots with apple, quince and crunchy yellow plums. Time spent on skins offers just enough tannin to keep things interesting - not dissimilar to iced tea - backed up by plenty of clean, refreshing minerality on the finish.
A great wine to pair with root vegetable dishes, but also with sushi and mixed sashimi.
Fattoria di Vaira is one of the largest biodynamic and organic farms in Italy with more than 500 hectares of vegetables, grains, olive groves and bee hives amongst around 40 hectares of vines. The aim is to produce terroir driven produce whilst respecting the land and making the most of the deep, clay rich soil and Mediterranean environment.
