El Escoces Volante, Manda Huevos Cana Andrea Single Vineyard 2021

Get to know: El Escocés Volante Manda Huevos Tinto 2021

Spanish red wine from the rugged, high-altitude vineyards of Villarroya de la Sierra in Calatayud, offering a unique and expressive tasting experience.

Tasting Note

El Escocés Volante Manda Huevos Tinto 2021 is an elegant red that captivates with its purity, freshness, and wild raspberry character. Deep ruby in colour with aromatic notes of blue flowers, crushed mountain herbs, and hints of earthy red fruit from Garnacha, Moristel, and Bobal. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with concentrated yet finely balanced flavours of ripe raspberry, subtle spice, and a mineral edge. It finishes with a lingering, saline-tinged freshness that makes this a refined and versatile Spanish red wine.

Top food pairings:

  • Grilled lamb with rosemary and garlic
  • Charcuterie with aged Manchego
  • Hearty mushroom and vegetable stews
Kate Says
