This Organic Grüner Veltliner von Eckhof uses fruit from vineyards around Kirchberg in Wagram where the loess soil, the altitude and the terroir of their origin all help characterise the wines. This great all rounder has the light, fruity and easy drinking quality you want from Gruner Velliner with zingy citrus and apple fruits and crisp acidity. There's a little hint of the tell-tale white pepper note the grape is also known for too. Very refreshing and appealing.
Try this with as an aperitif or with light fish dishes, sushi, pork or goats cheese.
