Ecker-Eckhof Iocated in Kirchberg am Wagram, is run as a family business with history stretching back 400 years. Presently, a total area of 24 hectares is cultivated. Our winery is located in the beautiful wine-growing region of Wagram, on a deeo loess layer. "Ecker" wines are also becoming more and more popular abroad. Bernhard Ecker stands for constant top quality without compromises. His wines are recognized by clarity, finesse and longevity, which are appreciated by wine-lovers year in and year out.
Grüner Veltliner Ried Schlossberg is a Single Vineyard wine. Single vineyard wine hold the name of the individual single vineyard on the label an is characterized by the independent minerality of the vineyards, the old vines, the low yields and the terroir of the relative top location. Deep loess soil, 100% stainless steal tank, dry.
Full-bodied, elegant and spicy, Wagram's most typical Veltliner; particularly well suited to Austrian traditional cuisine and to innards such as veal broths.
