Get to know: Ecker-Eckhof, Rosa von Eckhof
Tasting Note
Beautiful dry rosé wine made from Zweigelt and Merlot grape. This has a light pink hue that invites you to a fresh and lively nose with aromas of red berries and cherries. The palate is crisp with lively acidity and flavours of grapefruit, strawberry, rhubarb and even subtle tropical hints. There's a slight hint of residual sweetness balancing it out making this a very appealing and easy drinking wine. Ideal summer for summer.
Try with antipasti, poultry or grilled fish dishes.
Kate Says
Ecker's precise flavours are always a pleasure to enjoy and this fab summery rosé really hits the spot. The freshness of the zesty fruit combined with just a hint of sweetness is a very satisfying combination. I'd enjoy this with some grilled salmon.
