Get to know: Domaine Lebrun, Pouilly-Fume
Tasting Note
A typical expression of this most elegant of Loire Sauvignon Blancs. This wine has fantastic length and structure. Citrus and smoky undertones dominate when drunk young, with a greater fullness and complexity developing with age.
Try with goats cheese and smoked salmon.
Kate Says
"A classic here, Pouilly-Fumé is softer and rounder than its neighbour Sancerre, with a lovely flinty smokiness. A lovely wine with smoked salmon."
