Domaine Monplezy, Felicite Blanc 2024

Get to know: Domaine Monplézy, Félicité Blanc 2024

A delicate and expressive Languedoc white wine crafted from 60% Marsanne and 40% Roussanne, grown in the gravelly soils of Pézenas.

Tasting Note

Domaine Monplézy use manual harvesting, precise winemaking, and gentle oak integration to produce a fresh, elegant, and layered wine. Golden and brilliant in the glass, with an open and delicate nose of linden flower, fennel, and subtle floral notes. The palate is soft and fresh, with a bright, saline finish that gives structure and vibrancy. Gentle oak influence and bâtonnage on lees add depth and texture without overpowering the purity of the fruit. Ideal for refined lunches, seafood dishes, or relaxed summer evenings.

Top food pairings:

  • Monkfish bourride with a light saffron sauce
  • Grilled sea bass with lemon and herbs
  • Vegetable tian or Provençal vegetable dishes
Kate Says

"Félicité Blanc is a perfect example of Languedoc elegance – It’s fresh, medium bodied with some body from the lees ageing but the acidity is superb and gives real tension and drive. There's lime and white plums with herbs and minerality. A really beautiful wine that complements seafood beautifully."

Producer Info

Domaine Monplézy is a family-run estate in Pézenas, southern France, perched just north of Béziers and facing the Mediterranean. They're known for a commitment to organic viticulture (certified VIN BIO by Ecocert) and low-yield, terroir-driven wines. With vines planted in Villafranchien gravel and quartz-rich soils, the estate produces wines that reflect the elegance and minerality of the Languedoc region. The Sutra de Germa – Gil family farm within a protected natural reserve, practising biodynamics and working entirely by hand, from harvest at dawn to low-intervention winemaking in the cellar. This cuvée reflects a place where vines share their home with rare birds and wildflowers.
