Domaine Gayda's southern French style meets New Zealand intensity in a wonderfully fresh and appealing Sauvignon at an incredible price. On first impression, the nose is typical of the grape variety, ripe and sunny, with seductive aromas of yellow lemon, fresh apricot and acacia. Hints of boxwood and exotic fruit come to the fore, adding to its intense, complex aromatic palette. On the palate, the attack is voluptuous, mouthcoating with an admirable structure. The wine is full-bodied and generous, with an exotic finish that combines the freshness of pineapple with the light vegetal notes of fresh grass. It seduces with its balance, freshness and length on the palate.

Domaine Gayda, nestled in Brugairolles near Carcassonne, is distinguished by a rich history and a philosophy focused on integrity and quality. Founded in 1749 as a coaching inn the farm buildings were gradually transformed into luxury accommodation, marking the beginning of a remarkable transformation. In 2004, under the enlightened leadership of owners Tim Ford and Anthony Record, in partnership with talented winemaker Vincent Chansault, the estate took a new turn by modernizing significantly.
