Get to know: Domaine Gayda, T'air d'Oc Sauvignon Blanc
Tasting Note
Domaine Gayda's southern French style meets New Zealand intensity in a wonderfully fresh and appealing Sauvignon at an incredible price. Straight off, the nose shows what this grape’s all about – ripe and full of sunshine, with lovely aromas of zesty lemon, fresh apricot, and a hint of acacia. There’s also a bit of boxwood and some tropical fruit notes that make it really interesting. On the palate, it’s rich and smooth with a great structure. Full-bodied and generous, the finish brings in exotic pineapple flavours along with a bit of fresh grass. It’s got a cracking balance, with plenty of freshness and a long, satisfying finish. Definitely one to savour.
Try this with goats cheese, a crayfish salad or chicken goujons with peri mayonnaise
