This late harvest Chenin Blanc from the Loire valley is a wonderful dessert wine and fantastic alternative to Sauternes.
The aroma presents a delightful medley, brimming with ripe white fruits, hints of apricot, and blossoms of white flowers. On the palate, these follow on to a beautifully fresh and expressive wine where the sugar and acidity is exquisitely balanced, culminating in a lingering finish with hints of white flowers and orchard fruits.
This is a great wine to pair with blue cheese of fruit based desserts.
