Domaine Denis P&F, Pernand-Vergelesses Blanc 2023

Get to know: Domaine Denis Père et Fils Pernand-Vergelesses Blanc

An elegant Burgundy white wine from the historic village of Pernand-Vergelesses in the Côte de Beaune.

Tasting Note

Domaine Denis Père et Fils Pernand-Vergelesses Blanc is a refined Chardonnay white wine that beautifully balances ripe fruit with classic Burgundian minerality. Pale gold in colour, it opens with aromas of citrus peel, white flowers, hazelnut and fresh orchard fruits. On the palate, this Pernand-Vergelesses white wine is fresh and textured, combining notes of lemon, yellow apple and subtle nutty complexity with a vibrant mineral edge. A gentle touch of oak adds depth without overshadowing the fruit, leading to a long, refreshing finish. This is a wonderfully versatile Burgundy that offers both immediate enjoyment and the potential to develop further complexity with age.

Top food pairings:

  • Seafood risotto with Parmesan
  • Grilled freshwater fish with butter and herbs
  • Goat's cheese or mature Gruyère
Kate Says

"This is the sort of white Burgundy that makes a simple supper feel like a special moment. Open a bottle with good cheese, crusty bread and friends around the table, and you'll suddenly wonder why you don't do that more often."

Producer Info

Why we love it:

This Burgundy white wine captures everything we enjoy about great Côte de Beaune Chardonnay: vibrant citrus fruit, delicate floral notes and a beautifully judged mineral backbone.
