Get to know: Domaine Emma & Christian Sorine Santenay 1er Cru Beaurepaire 2024

A refined and expressive Burgundy red wine from the renowned Beaurepaire vineyard in Santenay, Côte de Beaune.

Tasting Note

Domaine Emma & Christian Sorine Santenay 1er Cru Beaurepaire 2024 is an elegant red that combines depth with youthful vibrancy. Deep ruby in colour with aromas of ripe red cherry, blackcurrant, subtle spice, and a touch of forest floor. On the palate, it’s medium-bodied yet structured, offering silky tannins, layered red and dark berry flavours, and a mineral undertone that speaks of the Beaurepaire terroir. It finishes long and precise, with a freshness that carries through beautifully. A first-rate Burgundy red that delivers both charm and complexity.

Top food pairings:

  • Roast pigeon with seasonal vegetables
  • Beef bourguignon or coq au vin
  • Aged Comté or Gruyère cheese
Kate Says

"Domaine Sorine's Pinot Noir's are such fun to drink, immediately pleasing, without taking anyway away from their depth and complexity. This Santenay 1er Cru takes the quality up a few notches as it comes from some of the oldest vines of the appellation and shows character and structure."

Producer Info

Domaine Emma & Christian Sorine is one of Santenay’s oldest families, with records stretching back to Gallo-Roman times.
