Get to know: Domaine Emma & Christian Sorine Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2024
A delicate and approachable Burgundy red wine from the historic vineyards of Maranges in the Côte de Beaune.
Tasting Note
Domaine Emma & Christian Sorine Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2024 is an elegant red that shows the youthful energy and vibrancy typical of Maranges. Ruby red in colour with aromas of red cherry, raspberry, subtle spice, and a touch of forest floor. On the palate, it’s medium-bodied with silky tannins, offering flavours of bright red berries, soft plum, and a hint of earthy minerality from the Côte de Beaune terroir. It finishes smooth and refined, with a lingering freshness. A charming Burgundy red that’s immediately pleasing yet has enough depth to enjoy over a few years.
Top food pairings:
- Roast duck with orange glaze
- Mushroom risotto or sautéed wild mushrooms
- Soft cheeses like Brie or Camembert
Kate Says
"This Bourgogne Pinot Noir is a perfect introduction to the region and a reminder that it is still possible to get a high-level of quality for under £25 (though you need to get on it now) – juicy, vibrant, and just a touch earthy. Ideal for a cosy dinner or sharing with friends."
