A vibrant Burgundy white wine from the dynamic Maranges appellation in the Côte de Beaune.
Tasting Note
Domaine Emma & Christian Sorine Aligoté 2024 is a zippy, electric white that bursts with citrus energy. Pale lemon in colour with aromas of green apple, lemon zest, white flowers, and a hint of almond. On the palate, it’s bright and refreshing, with lively acidity and flavours of crisp orchard fruit, yellow citrus, and subtle minerality. It finishes with a clean, racy precision that leaves you wanting another sip. A youthful, immediately pleasing style that perfectly showcases the vibrancy of Burgundy Aligoté.
Top food pairings:
- Seared scallops with a citrus beurre blanc
- Lightly dressed green salads with goat’s cheese
- Fresh seafood platters or sushi

Christian took over in 1990, joined by Emma in 2009, and now the fourth generation, Paul, is bringing fresh energy to the estate. The Sorines focus on low-impact viticulture and careful vineyard management, producing wines that combine youthful vibrancy with real depth and typicity of Maranges.
How it’s made:
